Centre Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Principal Consultant with 5-10 years of solid federal government contract experience to work with our consulting clients. Experience in and a working knowledge of GSA/VA Schedules is strongly preferred, but we are willing to consider and train a motivated individual in this specific area of contracting if they have a good understanding of the federal acquisition regulations. You must be willing to accept challenges and stretch your knowledge. Most of the issues our clients face are complex and time sensitive. They come to us for effective solutions for these complex problems.
This position is a tremendous opportunity for the ideal candidate. We are implementing succession planning and equity ownership will be eventually available for the right person. Job Description:
- Mentor and supervise junior staff
- Prepare GSA/VA Schedules, modifications and renewal packages and assist in negotiations
- Attend client meetings, analyze client pricing structures and provide advice on compliance issues
- Assist with client’s Small Business Subcontracting Plans
- Represent Centre at marketing events and provide market research assistance to new and
established clients - Work with Centre Law attorneys on client compliance issues
- Speak at Centre training events
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while providing superior customer service
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft, Excel and other office products
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 – 10 years of Federal government contracting experience
- Must be a Team player with an outgoing personality willing to interact with clients
- Knowledge of GSA/VA Schedules, renewals or modifications a plus
- Willingness and ability to represent Centre at association events
- National Contract Management Association (NCMA) membership a plus

Government Contracting Trainer – as needed for specific courses. Centre Consulting, and the Federal Contracting Institute (FCI) team seek an Attorney with previous senior level federal government agency experience to teach government agency staff. Bid Protest experience a must, speaker and/or instructor training a plus. FCI offers various courses through public and on-site training on all aspects of federal contracting to industry clients and government personnel.

- Ability to instruct to a variety of knowledge and experience levels
- Current working knowledge of government policy and issues to include regulatory changes Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
