Subcontracts are more prevalent than ever and are often at the core of a program's success. This course is a must for reaching the next level, and mastering the complex nature of today's subcontracts.

  • Protecting proprietary information, software licensing, and data rights
  • Contracting officer and contracting officer’s technical representative (COTR) roles, prime contractor’s management/subcontract management, and constructive changes
  • Successful communication, management, administration, record-keeping, and closeout
  • Cost disclosure, cost or pricing data, certifications, and Truth in Negotiations Act compliance

This course is recommended for 9 Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) as well as Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) toward FAC-C requirements. It also offers 9 Contract Management Education (CME) units, and is approved by NCMA for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit in support of certification and recertification. A Federal Contracting Institute® certificate of completion will be provided to all attendees upon conclusion of the class.
