Overview
Establishing correct and effective leadership and interpersonal skills requires applied skills in communications management and a strong understanding of team project, the focus of this three-day course.
Topics
- Developing a business partnership with the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO), Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO), and other business advisers with an emphasis on acquisition strategy
- Establishing a team with the supplier/contractor for organizational mapping, process alignment and joint program review strategies
- Employing correct and effective oral and written communication skills
- Ensuring that all levels of staff have a comprehensive understanding of the project
- Organizing, managing, and leading the functions of working groups and teams
- Coaching and evaluating team development and performance
- Developing metrics for teams to detect initial signs of problems
- Managing the process to verify that design specifications are being met
- Developing the ability to lead with vision, entrepreneurship, and strategic thinking
