AU07 GSA/VA Schedule Renewals Audio Seminar
Schedule contract renewals are becoming increasingly challenging as the days of “automatic” renewals are long gone.  Today both GSA and VA require assurances that the pricing on Schedules remain “fair and reasonable” and that Schedule vendors have complied with their contract obligations prior to exercising the 5 year renewal option.  In addition, Schedule vendors with high schedule sales are subject to a pre-award audit of their renewal application by the GSA or VA OIG.  Attend this audio seminar to understand the “hot buttons” impacting Schedule renewals and learn how to best respond to them.
AU01 Surviving the New GSA Report Card
Prepare for the new GSA Report Card for assessing the compliance of schedule contractors. GSA will be evaluating new areas such as systems and processes to monitor the “basis of award” pricing and the use of electronic contracting tools. In the new Report Card, there are nine areas determined to be critical. Failure in any of the nine areas causes a rating of “serious concerns exist”. This new rating system will be used by contracting officers in deciding on whether or not to renew options. Are you prepared for these new audits? Prepare now so you are not surprised later.
